Vital Signs Sign with Imminence Records, Substream Magazine Exclusively

Imminence Records is kicking off their “Very Metal Winter” metal campaign, which will feature almost exclusively metal releases and announcements along with the hashtag #verymetalwinter, by announcing that they have signed Pennsylvania’s melodic metalcore outfit Vital Signs. Vital Signs feature former members of Ace Agustine, An Early Ending, and I Am History with combined experience with Strike First Records/Facedown Records and CI Records along with touring experience with the likes of Texas In July. Guitarist Alex Bolton commented on the signing, “We are more than excited that we have decided to team up with Imminence Records to release our debut EP. We put our hearts into this record and it’s great to find an organization that sees our potential and wants to help us take our passion to the next level.”
 

 
Substream Magazine is exclusively premiering the band’s ear-catching new single, entitled “Dear Death,” HERE. The single, which is sure to be stuck in listeners’ head, is taken from the band’s debut EP entitled Smoke And Mirrors. The single shows off catchy choruses, technical riffing, and the sheer amount of talent shown on the forthcoming release. The EP features five refreshing tracks of melodic metalcore and will be released January 27^th. The band will play their first show, since forming back in July, with For The Fallen Dreams, Palisades, and Sylar before then heading out on the road through the early part of 2015 in support of the EP.

Forming in July of 2014 with former members of Ace Augustine, An Early Ending, and I Am History; Vital Signs is poised to showcase the talent and skill that resides in the Pennsylvania scene currently. The band features vocalist Alex Runk (An Early Ending), guitarists Alex Bolton (Ace Augustine I Am History) and Bryan Merriman, and bassist Pat Sherman (I Am History). With each member having touring experience with bands like Texas In July and being signed with well-known labels like Facedown Records/Strike First Records and CI Records, Vital Signs as a whole is not your run of the mill newborn. The members are also aware that bands need to progress and not be content with the norm, and looks to set a new bar with their debut EP entitled Smoke And Mirrors. The EP features five refreshing tracks of melodic metalcore and will be released January 27^th, 2015 on Imminence Records.
