With a fusion of catchy power punk songs, orchestral power riffs and dangerously slick harmonies it’s no wonder Alex Barker of Kerrang! called Welsh pop punks Straight Jacket Legends a “Pop Punk Classic.”
What started as a bedroom project in 2012 in Holyhead, Wales has flourished into Straight Jacket Legends. Their irresistible hooks, orchestral arrangements, powerfully energetic live performances and cheeky humor helped propel the band to number 5 on iTunes in Feb ’12 via their appearance on the ‘What’s Hot Compilation’ which featured the track “Sofia” from their debut EP, ’Lemon Party‘.
They’ve also nabbed track of the week on Amazing Radio twice and garnered spins on Kerrang Radio, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Wales, while their debut video gained a spot on Kerrang TV & Scuzz TV UK.

Straight Jacket Legends have toured with the likes of ZebraHead, Army Of Freshmen, The Misfits, INME, Sonic Boom Six, Population Four, TNB, OPM, MC Lars, Wheatus and more.
The “Lemon Party” EP is available on November 11th via RED-distributed Self Made Digital Records.
The band’s debut full-length will be released in 2015.
