Brooklyn Vegan asserted, “they’re definitely a don’t miss band”. 2014’s critically hailed and their best-selling album Dreams cemented them on the radar. Pitchforkprofessed, “The songs are artfully composed, and after a couple listens, they lodge in your head and stay there.” AllMusic expressed, “Sweet, smooth, sincere, and smart, Dreams is an unexpected plush pillow from the group, so think of an after-party or afternoon record that could please the Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, Tensnake, and LCD Soundsystem crowds and you’re in the vicinity of this humble roller.”Inyourspeakers called it “an inspiring mosaic of heart-pumping tracks and lovely musical arrangements.”CLASH added, “The Danish group spin a heady web of electronics, taking on board post-punk and psychedelic influences in the process.”
Danish producer and drummer Tomas Barfod, jazz guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg, and David Bowie-loving bassist Tomas Hoffding formed WhoMadeWho in Copenhagen in 2003. They’ve toured the globe numerous times and have played alongside bands such as LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, and Hot Chip. Festival appearances include Roskilde, Glastonbury, Lowlands, and FIB among many others. Also, the band has done remixes for a multitude of bands including Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip, and GOTYE.
