EXCLUSIVE – Show Review & Photos: Sworn In

This is a special guest show review and photography of Sworn In‘s Las Vegas set from February 10th at Southern Nevada Sports Centre by Celina Rae! Check out her full photography set HERE. Make sure you “like” her Facebook page too!

When I first heard Sworn In’s debut album, Death Card, I knew I had to see them February 10 at the Southern Nevada Sports Centre. Not surprisingly- the chaos you hear through your headphones is easily matched during their live performance. As Sworn In sets up, the audience anxiously await at the front of the stage like race horses waiting for the starting pistol to fire off the frenzy.

They open up with their albums first track, “XIII” and led into “Hypocrisy”, as soon as Chris starts banging away on drums, security guards start throwing kids back as they swarm the stage. However, Tyler wasn’t having that and queues security away to let the dog pile of people rush forward, screaming and reaching for the mic. Zak, Eugene and Mike hold it down, shredding away on bass and guitars, as the disorderly crowd surrounds them.

If you are afraid of being shoved, pushed and possibly kicked and punched, then I would advise staying home when Sworn In comes through town. They put on a kick ass performance and have a fan base who does the same!

They will be ending their tour with the bands; This Or The Apocalypse, Sirens & Sailors and Shai Hulud on February 23. However, if you missed them this time around, fear not, they will be jumping right back on the road on March 8 with; Emmure, Volumes, Gideon and Thy Art Is Murder during the “Mosh Lives Tour”

Too bad all they do is get high before their shows now. Then play three songs and leave. Thanks Sworn In.
