Pop-Punkers SUCH A MESS Debut New Track with Substream Magazine

LA’s own Such A Mess has teamed up with Substream Magazine for the premiere of their new song “Tether.” The track is featured through a lyric video and is the group’s first piece of music to be unveiled from their forthcoming 7″ split with Post Season, ‘Greetings From.’ The 4-song split features two new tracks from each group, and will be released on August 28, 2015 via breakout label, Common Ground Records.

Such A Mess’ cathartic melodies and perfect harmonies come with a nostalgic warmth and matured sound.  “From our first record to these songs on the split, we’ve all grown up in a sense,” explains vocalist Sebastian Egurvide. “We’re not the happy boys we were a few years ago. Let’s face it, life sucks and it gets the best of us. This is us pouring our hearts out to the world.”  The track “Tether” addresses wanting something you can’t quite get your hands on and feeling cut off and isolated from those you had hoped to be close to.  Such A Mess’ portion of ‘Greetings From’ was produced and engineered by Johnny Liu, and the full EP was mastered by Grammy-nominated Michael Fossenkempter of Turtle Tone Studios.

In support of the release, Post Season and Such A Mess will join forces on the road for the ‘Greetings From’ summer tour.  The tour kicked off this past week and will take the bands across the US, wrapping up on August 29th in Pittsburgh, PA.  A full list of confirmed dates can be seen below. Additionally, split-mates Post Season unveiled their first track off the release last week, which AbsolutePunk.net described as, “boasting more hooks than your grandad’s tackle box.”  Post Season’s track “Backroads” can be heard here, and pre-orders for the ‘Greetings From – Split’ are available here.
