DEC 16 – San Diego, CA’s Capsize will perform as direct support to No Bragging Rights on a short West Coast tour that will kick off tomorrow,December 17, in Bakersfield, CA and wrap up on December 21 in San Diego. The lineup will feature additional support from For The Win and Trey The Ruler.
Capsize has been on the road non-stop since the September release of their debut full-length album, The Angst In My Veins, including US tours with Being As an Ocean and Fit For A King, and the Common Vision Tour with Counterparts, Hundredth, Handguns and more. Capsize has also just completed the massive, month long Impericon Never Say Die Tour in Europe with Terror, Stick To Your Guns, and Comeback Kid, which wrapped up to a sold out crowd of over 1500 fans at the final date in Cologne (Germany). Capsize will head back overseas for the start of their 2015 touring schedule, with a week long headline run in Japan planned for the beginning of January. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
Today, the band is premiering the final video in a three-song series of playthroughs from guitarist Ryan Knowles. The series features “Endless Emptiness”, “This Song Made Me Think Of You”, and “Linger” and can be found HERE.
The melodic hardcore outfit also recently released two sets of intense live performance recordings through Audiotree and Little Elephant Live, as well as two official music videos for “Linger” and “Pale” that were directed by Tyler Ross of Being As An Ocean, and can be seen now at Youtube.com/equalvision.
The Angst In My Veins was recorded with producer Jay Maas (Bane, Defeater) at Getaway Recordings in Haverhill, MA and is out now through Equal Vision Records. The album impressively debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard New Artist Chart, No. 27 on the Hard Rock Chart and No. 53 on the Independent Artist Chart.
