Today we are thrilled to announce that Carter is now part of the Autumn + Colour family.
We are premiering the new single “Steps” – which will be on the upcoming release ‘A Ghost Running Through Shadows.’
New Jersey based Carter was formed in February of 2013 by multi-instrumentalist Matthew Rauch. As a youth he displayed a passion for music, and learned how to record on his 4 track cassette player. He also likes watching a lot of hockey. The debut EP will be available for pre-order on May 30, 2014.
The song “Steps” is about taking the necessary steps inside yourself to regain your sense of self-worth, meaning, and strength after a devastatingly traumatic tragedy and loss. It was recorded in my friends basement in a day, and finished with my friend John Ferrara, who mixed the album, at Portrait Recording Studios. ~Matthew Rauch
