Alternative Rock artist, Deletto, is exclusively premiering his brand new single and video, “All We Are,” on Kerrang! Magazine. Give it a listen/watch here (trigger warning: mild self-harm shots). The single is also available across streaming services today, including Spotify and more.
On the new track, Deletto says “This music video portrays signs of depression and the dangers that can follow if it goes ignored or unnoticed. My goal is to create a conversation surrounding depression and suicide, and to work towards overcoming the stigma attached to mental health.”
The cinematic music video directed by the songwriter himself, shows us how often in life, our own situations and problems can distract us from those around us who are in need of help and supplements this idea with statistics on depression and suicide. “This project’s main goal is to raise awareness on mental health, with a focus on suicide prevention. When coming up with the idea for the music video, I pulled some inspiration from my own experiences and created a story that forces you to lose focus of the higher risk individual. You see so much of the main characters situation that it distracts you from the character who is an immediate danger to himself”.
Deletto is an upcoming and coming rock artist out of Northern New Jersey. His sound is a unique blend of driving rock riffs, heavy thematic drums, and ethereal vocal samples on top of a cinematic song structure, with songwriting heavily inspired by his own personal struggles and experiences. He is an all-around artist and wrote and performed every instrument on his first album, with the exception of live drums.
Deletto got his start producing hip-hop, and playing as a touring guitarist for a local hip-hop artist. He has shared the stage with artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Schoolboy Q, Meek Mill, and Ty Dolla $ign. Deletto is very hands on creatively, and also uses his vast knowledge of film to direct and edit all of his own music videos. He is not afraid to speak his mind, and has an energetic, infectious personality that draws people toward him.
