Gallery Review: Our Last Night at House Of Blues, Orlando

Our Last Night recently took the stage at the House of Blues in Orlando as part of their highly anticipated Let Light Overcome the Darkness Tour of the United States. As suggested by the tour’s name, this run is in celebration of the back to back albums Let Light Overcome and Overcome The Darkness. Fans lined up outside the Disney Springs venue eager for a night of great music with The Word Alive and I See Stars joining as support. With all three bands known for spreading a message of hope with their lyrics, it was as much an event for mental health support as it was a concert experience.

Fans love Our Last Night for countless reasons, but one of the main ones being that they have full creative control over their discography. With no record label and all writing and recording done by the band themselves, listeners can always expect thoughtful and authentic content from the boys, as well as a solid collection of popular covers.

Highlights of the set included a reworked rock version of Kendrick Lamar’s rap hit “HUMBLE” which had the crowd dancing and cheering, and a performance of new track “The Leap” which found bassist “Woody” Woodrow leaping into the audience to crowd surf. The band included a good balance of tracks from their last few albums and concluded the night with an encore performance of “Sunrise.” Be sure to follow the band below to stay up to date with the current tour and upcoming releases!
