Burgeoning, New Jersey bred post-rock/alternative outfit Gates has debuted a new video for their single “Low” today. This comes just days before the band kicks off their spring tour with Pianos Become The Teethand Loma Prieta, which kicks off in Philadelphia on Friday. Tickets are on sale now!
“Our goal with this video was to incorporate and expand upon the aesthetic elements of Bloom & Breathe,” says the band’s bassist and video director Mike Maroney. “It was a collaborative effort within the band, and we’re very proud of the final product.”
Gates latest single comes from their recently released, critically heralded record, Bloom & Breathe, that’s out now on Pure Noise Records (Purchase at http://gates.merchnow.com/). With their latest record, the band has burst out of the underground with a unique style of sweeping, atmospheric rock that soothe and brood. Tracks like “Not My Blood” and “Low” draw listeners in with mounting crescendos that wash over with a wave of emotions.
