New York, NY | February 3, 2015 – Fifteen-year-old singer-songwriter, Jordan JAE, has made quite a name for herself in 2014 with the release of her two powerful original singles, “Said No One Ever” (co-written and produced by Grammy nominated duo Kinetics & One Love)and “Makin Me Crazy.” The New York City-based teen has also been gaining ground with her YouTube cover video series where she’s covered a diverse playlist of artists including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, The Beatles and more. Today Jordan JAE is ready to release her latest creation and has teamed up with You, Me and Charlie, a music blog created by Glee’s Dianna Agron, to officially unveil her brand new single, “Hopping Fences”. The single, co-written and produced by Chris Petrosino and Rob McCurdy (a.k.a. Noise Club), showcases Jordan JAE’s rapidly maturing songwriting while taking her a bit more into the indie-pop realm. When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Jordan JAE shared,
“As a teen we often feel misunderstood and are frustrated by the inability of our parents to understand us. There are times when we just blindly stumble through life not truly understanding what’s expected of us. We’re constantly told that we are either to young to understand, or that we need to grow up and learn to deal. As a result we can feel fenced in and unsure of ourselves. I know I do. This song is about jumping over that fence, secure in ourselves and ready to take on life and everything it has to throw at us.”

ABOUT JORDAN JAE:
Hailing from the iconic and cultured streets of New York City, 15-year-old pop sensation Jordan JAE is about to burst the music industry wide open with her relentlessly catchy tunes. This musical wunderkind has been singing since she can remember and at the tender age of 7 was persuaded by her mom to take vocal lessons. By the age of 9, Jordan JAE picked up piano as well and wrote her very first original song. She confesses, “It was definitely the quality of a nine year old but like they say, you can only get better.”

With the support of her parents, Jordan JAE started writing songs whenever she could. Around the age of 13 she was invited to record at SlumboLabs recording studio in Brooklyn by owner Jake Ottmann. There she continued developing as a singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist, working alongside high caliber artists and producers. While working on her original music Jordan also quickly grew a strong online following with her YouTube cover videos, releasing beautiful renditions of Imagine Dragons “It’s Time,” Ed Sheeran “All of the Stars,” The Beatles “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” and more. Canadian DJ Glenn Morrison even caught wind of her cover of his Platinum certified single, “Goodbye” and Tweeted, “seeing these covers makes me very happy!! I’m happy the song spoke to you!”

Jordan JAE teamed up with Grammy nominated songwriting and production duo, Kinetics and One Love (Eminem, B.o.B, Pitbull, Sean Kingston, Melanie Martinez), for her debut single, “Said No One Ever.” The tenacious, empowering breakup song and music video released in March 2014 and has garnered over 100K views and Jordan features on Just Jared Jr., Huffington Post, Buzznet, Radio Disney, MTV.com and more! Jordan JAE is currently sharing her opinions as an official Buzznet.com Buzzmaker, was one of the faces of Steven Kopacz of Go Radio’s Smooth Sailing Co. summer clothing line, and is endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars, sporting her Silver Sparkle Rock Candy electric guitar in a recent cover of NONONO’s “Pumpin Blood.” Jordan JAE’s preparing to release her debut EP (release date TBA), with her second single “Makin Me Crazy” available for purchase on August 18th alongside the official music video directed by Alan McIntyre Smith (The Ready Set, Freelance Whales, Never Shout Never).
