Live Gallery + Show Review: Davey Muise with R I L E Y and Michael Barr

When you hear the name Davey Muise, you probably think of his work with his former metalcore project. He spent his time with Vanna screaming at the top of his lungs and diving off of stages into crowds of thousands of fans. These days, he’s involved in a very different project, but his performances are just as captivating. Muise’s solo work possesses an ambient emo vibe reminiscent of acts such as Death Cab For Cutie and Brand New. During his recent tour with R I L E Y and Michael Barr, he was tasked with the challenge of winning over some audiences who were being introduced to him for the first time. Fortunately, connecting with people through music appears to be effortless for Davey, as he had new fans in Orlando clapping along and repeating lyrics back to him throughout the night. The setlist consisted of stripped down favorites from Vanna’s catalogue, covers, and original tracks including the newly released, “That’s Alright. Listen below and be sure to keep an eye out for more new music in the near future.
