Michael McArthur Releases Acoustic Video for “Clocks”

Pop/soul singer-songwriter Michael McArthur teamed up with AXS for the exclusive premiere of his newest acoustic video, “Clocks.” The video features singer Kristy Scott in a raw and stripped-down acoustic performance. “Clocks” is a sultry and romantic song that highlights the seductiveness of McArthur’s debut album Magnolia, which released last month. Bridging sounds and styles similar to Maroon 5 and John Mayer, the Florida native’s soulful voice cuts through his emotionally-inspired melodies perfect for every date night playlist, take a listen!

Here is what Michael McArthur had to say about the song:

“‘Clocks’ is all about the wait and how easy it is to be tormented by time. Sitting by the phone, waiting for a call that doesn’t come, but somehow you’d rather wait than let go. – Michael McArthur

Last year, Michael McArthur caught the attention of GRAMMY Award-winning Producer, David Bianco (Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams, Citizen Cope) and teamed up with the singer to produce his debut full-length album, Magnolia. The album was produced, mixed, and engineered by Conrad Johnson (Inertia Sound Studio), David Bianco (Dave’s Room), and Michael McArthur.
