NYC’s IONIA to Release Debut EP ‘Captain Humility’ June 24th

MANHATTAN, NY // June 16, 2014 – New York City’s very own IONIA have announced plans to release their debut EP entitled “Captain Humility” on June 24th. After recording more than thirty songs with producer Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Crime In Stereo, O’Brother) the band decided it was time to release their music out to the world. In a media-saturated market of short attention spans, the band opted for a selective EP to allow each song to be highlighted and stand on its own.

This four-piece dynamic band delves deep into your psyche with powerful lyrics and resonating music. Their upcoming single and music video, also named “Captain Humility” was written, directed and produced by singer Blaise Beyhan. Continuing the storyline of their first video “Mutiny” the addition of film adds an entirely new dimension to their already spine-tingling music. It will be officially released July 1.
