Polyvinyl Records is proud to announce the forthcoming split 7″ from Owen and Into It. Over It.. The Chicago based songwriters and buds forever, otherwise respectively known as Mike Kinsella and Evan Weiss, have also performed and recorded together as two thirds of the band Their / They’re / There. With an incredible respect for each others’ abilities as songwriters, Weiss and Kinsella were excited when the idea came to them to cover each others’ songs as part of a split 7″. In addition to the two covers, the 7″ contains two songs from each artist performed by the songwriters themselves. Track listing below.

Aside from the effort Weiss and Kinsella put towards Into It. Over It. and Owen, each of them has been involved in a myriad of musical projects throughout the years. Currently Kinsella is touring with the recently reunited American Football. The much beloved band re-released their self titled album on Polyvinyl last year, and are coming off dates in the UK and Europe – including Primavera Sound Festival – with plays at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun fest on the horizon. Weiss for his part, who also lends his time as lead vocalist and guitarist for the trio Pet Symmetry, will tour in support of that band’s recently released and critically lauded album Pets Hounds this summer.
