PANDORA Yet Again, Puts on Nothing Shy of a Spectacular Event!

No one gets off the F train East Broadway stop and walks to the Pier 36, and I mean no one, especially on a Thursday afternoon. But let me tell you, the times are-a changing as rapid as the standard winter weather, because at 2pm on December 10th, a line formed from the entrance of Basketball City, and stretched as far as the eye could see. I can tell you this, it wasn’t basketball or plummeting into the East River that attracted this crowd. Leave it to none other than PANDORA to get thousands of music enthusiasts out and about mid work day to wait on line for the event of the year!

Pandora’s Holiday Event featured Jersey natives Cash Cash who pushed this party from day to night with some sweet spinage (not a word, but sounds like Popeye food) between sets of G-EazyPanic! At The Disco, and alas the highly anticipated Fall Out Boy! Cash Cash weren’t the only party pushers. With free entry, sponsors of T-mobile, Goose Island, Glade, Mountain Dew, bars located in every view point, bubble machines on full blast, and cameras snapping from all directions catching everyone’s every move, surely everyone’s good time mistakes will be embraced and documented for some sweet blackmail purposes!

G-Eazy‘s set consisted mainly of his latest effort, When It’s Dark Out. I’ve always appreciated artists pushing their new material even if against popular demand. In this instance, the massive crowd seamlessly embraced the tunes as smiles and innovative dance moves spread like wild fire.

Panic! At The Disco played to all the lifelong fans with old songs like “Mona Lisa Smile” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, as well as a cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. They also played songs from their newest album, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die, along with single, “Victorious” from their up and coming album, Death of a Bachelor slated to drop this January.

And last but far from least, Fall Out Boy hits the stage. These boys are no strangers to the stage or touring at that matter. They have an upcoming tour with Awolnation and PVRIS in February. They recently put out a remix album of American Beauty / American Psycho called Make America Psycho Again which is primarily what their set was based around at this event. They definitely touched on all the hits, made the crowd go crazy and overall put on a superb showcase.

Thank you BBGun Press and the fine staff at Pandora for the invite and good times!
