PICTURESQUE SIGNS TO EQUAL VISION RECORDS “SPEAK SOFTLY” MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW

Picturesque has signed to Equal Vision Records. The Lexington, KY-based quintet is led by the truly stunning vocal range and power of frontman Kyle Hollis, and supported by an equally impressive musical blend of rock, post-hardcore and pop influences.

Picturesque has also just released a music video for “Speak Softly”, which can be seen now at Youtube.com/equalvision. The song is available for free download at picturesqueband.com as well, for a limited time only. The song comes from the band’s debut effort – a self-released, self-titled EP that is out now.

“While we were out in California recording songs for our next EP, we filmed a video for “Speak Softly” down in San Diego with Michael Elinn (Motionless In White, A Lot Like Birds, I the Mighty),” shares Hollis. “The experience was great. He was able to capture the dark intensity of our music in a video. He’s also one of the most chill dudes you’ll ever meet!”

Picturesque will release their follow up EP and Equal Vision Records’ debut later this Fall, which was recorded with Erik Ron (Hands Like Houses, Set It Off, I the Mighty) in Los Angeles.

“The new EP was recorded and produced by Erik Ron. We worked with him on the first EP we released and knew we wanted to come back for round two,” reveals Hollis. “The new EP is as dark and aggressive as the first was, but even more dynamic. Really excited for everyone to hear what we’ve come up with!”

Picturesque is comprised of Kyle Hollis (vocals), Zach Williamson (guitar), Dylan Forrester (guitar), Robert Mote (bass), and Cole Clark (drums).

To date, Picturesque has shared stages with the likes of Beartooth, SECRETS, and Too Close to Touch. The band will announce their Fall and Winter tour plans early next week.
