Runaway Kids Premiere New Song Off ”Better Days” EP, Out June 23 on Mediaskare Records

Runaway Kids have premiered the song “Take Deep Breaths” on their official Facebook page which can be found here.

“The word friend gets thrown around so loosely now a days,” stated vocalist Gage Armstrong on the lyrics to “Take Deep Breaths”. Adding, “People think if someone follows you on Instagram that you’re “friends”. This song goes out to my actual friends, my family. The people that have been with me through my best and worst times. The people that picked me up from the police station, gave me money if I needed it, let me sleep on their floors when I didn’t have a home, and the people that are here to see me through the best times of my life.”

The song comes from the band’s upcoming EP ‘Better Days’, which is set to hit stores June 23rd on Mediaskare Records. Produced and mixed by Cameron Webb (Pennywise, Alkaline Trio), the EP also features Pennywise’s Randy Bradbury handling bass duties on every song.

The band will play with Ignite at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on June 26 and again on June 28 in Long Beach, CA.
