Season Change’s follow up to “Clueless,” “Valentine,” is a heartfelt tribute to singer Anthony Robles’ dear friend who passed away two years ago.
“Two years ago, on January 14, 2013, one of my best friends, my brother, Michael Valentine passed away unexpectedly,” Robles’ says. “I was laying on the couch taking pictures with my girlfriend when I got the phone call that he was in the hospital, but already gone. I had never experienced real heartbreak, true agony, until that moment. The song is about how badly I wish I had him back. It’s about how no matter how hard I try, or how much time passes, I will never be able to cope with the pain or the reality of losing him. It’s about how I sometimes wish that I could die, just so I can see him again, and have him tell me that everything is okay.”
Seasons Change will be on tour later this month for the Nonstop Feeling Tour with Turnstile, Superheaven, Take Offense and Forced Order. Follow the band at https://www.facebook.com/ seasonschangepoppunk for additional news and updates.
