SRCvinyl Celebrates New Brick and Mortar Store

SRCvinyl will celebrate Record Store Day and the recent opening of its first brick and mortar store in the Niagara Falls area (Southern Ontario/ Western NY) this Saturday, April 18. The store will have one of the largest selections of official Record Store Day titles within the area, with over 1,000 pieces in stock (over 250 titles).

The online purveyor of quality vinyl re-issues, founded by Jenna Miles and Danny Keyes in 2010, held the official grand opening of its new retail location last week.

Miles says, “Although we have run our online store for over 5 years, Danny and I have always really wanted to open a brick and mortar location. We love our online store but it is very difficult with it to really reach out and experience music and vinyl directly with our customers. We are excited to have a place where we can do things like live in store performances, test pressing listening parties and to just hang out and discuss vinyl. “

Last week, Miles told the Niagara Falls Review, “We probably have access to about 20,000 to 40,000 titles. We are only selling new albums at this point and we will probably be carrying 2,000 to 3,000 at any given time, We will have everything from new releases and have everything from classical, jazz and rock. We are not based on one kind of genre. Some people are going to be very excited when they come in because I’ve been collecting some records that have been out of print for awhile and we will be selling them.”
