THE CASUAL Announce Debut EP 'LUST'

LANCASTER, PA | June 16, 2015 – Since the band formed in 2013, Lancaster, PA’s indie electro-pop bandThe Casual has been tirelessly working on their long-awaited debut EP. Today, the band is proud to announce that their EP, Lust, will be released on 8/8/15. The Casual is entering the spotlight with a unique sound that blends pop, electro, hip-hop, rock, and even latin as a self-proclaimed “amalgamation.” The band is debuting their EP on the heels of announcing endorsements by Aftershock Designs and SJC Drums, paving the way to make 2015 a memorable year for this band. Here is what the band had to say about the release of their forthcoming debut EP, Lust:

“This EP has been in the works for well over a year now. The line up of the songs have been changed so many times, it’s refreshing to finally have something that we’re really happy with. One of the intentions of this EP is to show everyone how eclectic our sound is. I think the thing that we’re most excited about is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. We already have a few albums worth of music made and ready to be recorded. I felt like this was a good introduction to who we are and what we are about. ” – Zach Anderson

The Casual consists of Zach Anderson (singer/songwriter), Chris Arcand (bass), and Chris Norton(drums), who went to High Garden Studio in Lancaster, PA to self-produce their debut EP, Lust. The EP brings a unique energetic pop sound that fans of bands like Twenty One Pilots and The Ready Set will love. The Casual has played with bands such as Panic! At the Disco, Vinyl Theatre, and Carousel Kings and headlined the Dewey Beach Popfest in April.

More About The Casual:

The Casual is a three piece pop/electronic/rock/hip hop band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Casual was started by singer/songwriter, Zach Anderson in the fall of 2013. That Spring, Zach met with drummer, Chris Norton and began practicing there. It was in the Spring of 2014 that The Casual started playing shows. After multiple musicians coming in and out of the band, The Casual brought on bassist, Chris Arcand. The trio is currently in the post production process of the their long awaited EP entitled, “Lust”.
