“If you’re into riff-roaring swagger-laced rock heavy on grooves and bullshit-free, you’ve come to the right place.”
(Crave Online)

Steeped in the tradition of musical giants like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Jimi Hendrix, The Montauk Project’s debut full-length album Belly of the Beast (released March 25th) establishes the band as “black-hole sunbathers, Soundgarden loving doom-groove merchants with classic rock chops” (Diffuser.fm).

Featuring “irrepressibly head banging grooves and haunting melodies” (Speak Into My Good Eye) along with ace guitar work and thought-provoking lyrics, Belly of the Beast is heavy on musicianship, light on gimmicks, and “a complete breath of fresh air” (The Aquarian). Embodying their hardworking do-it-yourself ethos, The Montauk Project have worked the New York City club circuit (Webster Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, Bowery Electric) and beyond, allowing them to build their own studio where they self-produced, engineered, and recorded the latest album.
