team up to release a limited edition 2nd pressing of
Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain on 12″ vinyl

Limited 250 Unit Run Now Available now at: TheVenetiaFair.BigCartel.com

BOSTON, MA // August 12, 2014 – Boston’s favorite theatrical-rock band The Venetia Fair announced a second pressing of their album, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain on 12″ vinyl, offered in a classic format HERE

Limited to 250 copies, the release will be in bone-colored vinyl with a normal sleeve, featuring album artwork designed by bassist Chark King.

“The first pressing was pretty insane,” commented singer Benny Santoro, referring to the original ESDTWGIOB pressing from last fall which featured a tortoiseshell splatter vinyl and interactive pinwheel-cutout sleeve (as featured on Property Of Zack). “We think it was worth every penny and [even at $30 a pop] they sold out pretty quickly, but we know there are some people out there that don’t care about it being flashy; they just want a traditional vinyl experience at a traditional price. For this pressing we pulled the reins in a little bit in an effort to make it more affordable. It’s still very handsome and, of course, sounds exactly the same, it just comes in a slightly more modest package.”

Although currently independent, the band will release the vinyl again through guitarist Mike Abiuso’s label, SwitchBitch Records based in NYC, which regularly supports artists outside of its roster. Being sold for only $15 a copy, this limited-run vinyl won’t last long, be sure to grab your copy while you can!

Bio:

Once you hear The Venetia Fair, you won’t forget them. They approach rock music with theatrical flourishes and manic energy, their sonic palette featuring elements such as frenzied rag-time piano, over-the-top bombastic horns, and red-hot guitar licks.

Highly praised for their live show, the five men are possessed by some unknown energy. Their onstage mania has led to some injuries amongst the band members, but thus far nothing debilitating.

The Venetia Fair inspires borderline obsessions amongst their fanbase, so much so that the band was able to self-release their third album off the back of a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign. The campaign shot past its fund-raising goal in 4 days, and the band recorded and released Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got in Our Brain. The new album has gained some serious buzz, with Alternative PressAbsolute PunkMTV News, Property of Zack, and PureVolume all agreeing that The Venetia Fair is a band that you need to know about right now. And more and more people are finding out about them each night, as the band causes mayhem on stages across the nation. And to be honest, the road is the best place for them anyways. If you leave them at home for too long, something might end up catching on fire.

What The Press Is Saying:

“Every Sick, Digusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain is an elite record from a band seeping into every punk rock household across the country. Bringing the record to wax for the second time, at a cheaper price, gives more ears the chance to be infected with this band’s vivacious sound.” – Under The Gun Review

“The title of The Venetia Fair’s new Kickstarter-funded album, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain, speaks for itself as it showcases the band’s signature maniacal spin on the modern cabaret-rock sound.”  – Alternative Press

“Just as crazy as its name, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain, combines soaring vocals with theatrically piercing instrumentation to sound as grandiose as a modern day rock opera.”-AbsolutePunk.net
