Following on from its tender introductions in lead single ‘Courage’ and ‘Hot Scary Summer’, Conor O’Brien’s Villagers has released the ornate ‘The Soul Serene’ as a further preview of forthcoming album Darling Arithmetic. The new song premiered earlier today on i-D alongside a brand new interview with O’Brien and can now be heard HERE.
Darling Arithmetic, the third album from Villagers, is set for release on April 14th. The follow-up to Conor O’Brien‘s debut, Becoming a Jackal, and its successor, Awayland – both hugely acclaimed and each nominated for Britain’s Mercury Music Prize – is a breathtakingly beautiful, intimate album about love and relationships.
