Since forming in early 2009, pop-punk quartet Thieves have worked their way to prominence in one of the most competitive and prestigious markets in US music. With a number of US headline tours over the past 4 years, the Austin, Texas outfit defy the stereotypical pop-punk sound, placing a heavier influence on technical proficiency and elite musicianship whilst maintaining a backdrop of honest and melodic punk. In addition to a plethora of shows across the nation, Thieves have also graced the stages of some of the top festivals in alternative music, with Fun Fun Fun Fest, SXSW and the Vans Warped Tour all on the band’s resume.

‘Brandishing a surprisingly technical sword for a pop-punk band…’ – Alternative Press

Most recent release, Colorchange saw the band join forces with Beau Burchill (Saosin) to deliver their most complete and mature LP to date, a record which would see release through 90-Five Records in June 2014 to an array of critical acclaim across alternative music press. Not satisfied with their already-impressive accomplishments over the last six years, Thieves entered the studio with pop-punk heavyweight producer Sam Pura in Winter of 2015, along with the aforementioned Burchill as they look to find their footing amongst the emerging pop-punk elite when the album hits shelves later this year. Before that time, the month-long With A Little Help From My Friends tour is sure to whet the collective appetites of Thieves increasingly sizeable army of fans this Summer.
