STREAM: “Breathe“
If listening to wicked new music was on your New Year’s Resolution list this year, then you’re in luck. In the final premiere before their Jan 22nd release, Vox Vocis has teamed up with AbsolutePunk to offer an exclusive stream of their single, “Breathe.” AbsolutePunk says the new track “calls to mind the prog-rock leanings of post-hardcore acts like Dance Gavin Dance and early Closure In Moscow, but with a frenetic energy reminiscent of The Mars Volta.” This is the third track reveal, preceded by “This Hardened Heart” and “A Fire Favored”.
With a sound that pays homage to acts like Coheed and Cambria, The Dear Hunter, and The Mars Volta, the band will release their first full-length, In the Arms of the Sun on January 22nd. The album was produced and recorded by Stephen Adwell of AMR Studios, and mastered by Mike Watts (Theory of a Deadman, The Dear Hunter, Story of the Year). Following the album’s release, they’ll embark on a 3-week tour across the South West.
