Live Gallery + Show Review: New Years Day at House Of Blues, Orlando

New Years Day fans in Orlando were treated to one hell of an album release celebration, as the band performed at a sold out House Of Blues on the same day their new album Unbreakable dropped. Although the band is currently on tour supporting Falling In Reverse, there was no shortage of crowd enthusiasm as New Years Day took the stage on Friday night. The set kicked off with “Come For Me, the first track on the new album that singer Ash Costello has described as her “fight song.” Other songs included “Shut Up, “Kill Or Be Killed, and a cover of the Pantera classic “Fucking Hostile. This band has all the necessary elements for a killer live show — a natural ability to command the crowd, excellent on-stage chemistry among the band members, and of course, a healthy dose of theatrics. Guitarist Nikki Misery was king of the latter, as he spent a majority of the last song wildly wailing on his guitar in the middle of the crowd. Needless to say, they left a lasting impression on anyone in the audience that happened to be new to their music.

We had the opportunity to chat with Nikki and Frankie before the show. View our full gallery of their performance below, then click here to read what they had to say about the new album and their upcoming headlining tour.
