Fans who have gotten a chance to catch alternative pop-rock band Night Argent‘s live set have been raving over their hard-hitting closer, “Widowmaker.” Last week, the Pasco, WA band answered their fans’ requests by partnering with PureVolume to release the song for free! “Widowmaker,” is a powerful rush of Night Argent’s iconic arena pop-rock energy, filled with heavy drum and bass and infectious hooks. “Having just finished up our first run on this year’s Vans Warped Tour, we wanted to release a single that captures the energy we bring when playing live for our fans. What some people don’t realize until they see us live, is that we are a rock band. Our songwriting may have influences of Alternative and Pop, but when you go to a Night Argent concert, you are going to a rock concert. With ‘Widowmaker,’ we’re giving our fans the chance to turn up the bass, feel the drums in their chest, and experience a taste of our live show in their living room.” – Night Argent
“Widowmaker” is the third single released off of Night Argent’s self-titled EP, which the band is giving away exclusively to Vans Warped Tour attendees this summer (6/20-6/28, 8/1-8/8). The EP also features the infectious debut single “Nothing More Beautiful” and latest release “Comet (Light It Up).
