Somos Premiers “Streets Upon Streets” From Upcoming Split with Have Mercy at Noisey.com

Somos got their start in 2012 and have quickly become one of the most promising up-and-coming indie rock outfits to come out of New England in years. The band released their debut record, Temple of Plenty, in early 2014 and supported it with extensive touring with bands like I Am the Avalanche and Modern Baseball and performances at Riot Fest in Toronto and Chicago.

Late last year, the band signed with Huntington Beach, CA independent label No Sleep Records and announced plans for their first release, the upcoming split with Have Mercy, soon after. The band is currently gearing up for a busy year with an upcoming tour with Tigers Jaw and Lemuria (Tickets Available Here) and their second studio album that’s due out later this year.

Have Mercy also recently debuted a cover of Jackson Browne’s classic song “Somebody’s Baby” from the upcoming split, which can be streamed at http://bit.ly/1LeX8qJ.
